26. Remember, dear brothers and sisters, that few of you were wise in the world’s eyes, or powerful, or wealthy when God called you.

29. So that no one can ever boast in the presence of God.

31. As the Scriptures say, “The person who wishes to boast should boast only of what the Lord has done.”
Application:
Christians clearly do believe in using their minds to weigh the evidence and make wise choices, but Paul is declaring that no amount of human knowledge can replace or bypass Christ’s work on the cross. If it could, Christ would be accessible only to the intellectually gifted and well educated and not to ordinary people.
Skill and wisdom do not get a person into God’s Kingdom--simple faith. God is your source and the reason for your personal relationship with Christ. Your union and identification with Christ results in you having God’s wisdom, being acceptable to God, being pure, and being used by God.
God is calling forth “Women on the Frontline.” You do not have to have a college degree, a big bank account, or look like a beauty queen. He is calling forth ordinary women who know an extraordinary God!"
